Svaneborg Kardyb & Caoilfhionn Rose - Illusions

Gondwana Records label mates, Danish duo Svaneborg Kardyb and Manchester’s Caoilfhionn Rose release their collaborative single Illusions.

Reflecting on the writing process Caoilfhionn says “I had several demos on the go of ‘Illusions’ but something wasn’t quite right. Matthew Halsall was giving me some feedback and suggested working on the track with Svaneborg Kardyb. They sent me a phone recording of the foundations of the tune and it sounded amazing. The atmosphere and feel they created was exactly right for the song.”

Svaneborg Kardyb add “We've always found Caoilfhionn's music inspiring and calming, so doing a collaboration felt very natural. The colour choices in this song is very much a reflection of how it feels for us to live in this state of the world right now.
