Caoilfhionn Rose - Truly

Caoilfhionn (pronounced Keelin) Rose is a singer, songwriter and producer from Manchester. Emerging from a diverse music scene, she ties together remnants of Manchester’s musical past with its evolving present. She has collaborated with musicians from around the world and is perhaps best known for her work with Vini Reilly of Durutti Column.

Her second release for Gondwana Records, Truly weaves together elements of folk, ambient, jazz, and psychedelia, creating a soundscape that is both ethereal and grounded and was co-produced by Kier Stewart of The Durutti Column, with contributions from Rose's live band. The distinctive artwork is by Daniel Halsall.
